The LADOTD has developed a Public Involvement Plan for the Houma-Thibodaux to LA 3127 Connection. The goal of the Houma-Thibodaux to LA 3127 Connection Public Involvement Plan is to ensure that citizens are kept informed about the progress of the Houma-Thibodaux to LA 3127 Connection and that they have adequate opportunities to provide comment and to inquire about the project.
The Houma-Thibodaux to LA 3127 Connection Public Involvement Plan recommends a variety of outreach techniques, including public meetings/workshops, smaller informal group meetings with stakeholders, newsletters, and this project website. In addition, the DOTD has adopted the logo shown at the top of this page for the project to ensure that informational materials relating to the project are immediately identifiable.
